Somewhat unkind

My hand over her mouth
There was bo doubt,
she had to be quiet!
Someone could hear her and it couldn't start a riot
I stopped and asked her to just come without noise
and told her she had no choice
I mean, we'd be laying there surrounded by trees,
with sounds of birds and bees
The hiking trail was close by
Sho I whispered "Why
can't you just do what I did?
Just shut you lid
Scream loudly in your mind?"

Strangely, she found that to be somewhat unkind....
